Patient 2

Good evening,

Well, a very good week last week, especially down to your neck advice. I have suspected for sometime that wear and tear on my neck through exercising and repetitive actions looking up and down at a computer at work all day could have had a part to play in my symptoms; particularly some of my disorientation and balance issues. I saw a physiotherapist last week who gave me manipulation and some neck exercises to do. In addition, there was a long list of actions not to do.

Ironically, I saw Professor X regarding my X X on Saturday and he has been experiencing similar symptoms following a neck and shoulder injury three months ago.

Since seeing the physio I have made a lot of subtle alterations to my daily routine to see if I can take as much of the neck issue out of the equation as possible. I had a demanding week at work last week but my migraine symptoms were minimal and my tinnitus at its lowest level. I am intrigued to see if my tinnitus level is related in any way to my neck issues.

I am off to X on business tomorrow and will be monitoring my symptoms whilst away.

Kind regards

Good evening,

One week away in X with plenty of R & R and I am virtually symptom free. The only issue I noticed whilst away was mild vertigo following lift trips or walks up or down stairs; these symptoms subsided quickly. I have been back to work today with no obvious symptoms. My tinnitus is also currently at a much lower level. It will now be interesting to monitor my progress and observe any triggers or developments from a stable platform. Tiredness and stress seem to be major factors when I look back from a refreshed perspective.

Regards

Good evening,

I have had a good week with lots of physical activity. I have felt very well, just some very mild issues with my neck and associated symptoms. I think I can now differentiate the symptoms that are neck related and identify some of the activities that act as a trigger. No bigger migraine issues to report (thankfully).

Kind regards

Good evening,

Another uneventful week to report which happily meant another symptom free week. I am managing my neck very carefully which really seems to help. Stress is the other issue I have been managing all year and my migraine symptoms are much improved when compared to the last four months months of 2012. I really hope I am finding some sort of stability.

Kind regards
